A Team Approach to Recovery
The sports medicine team includes physicians, orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and strength conditioning specialists who collaborate on a patient’s plan of care as needed. We treat a wide variety of bone, joint and muscle conditions.
Our sports medicine services include:
- Treatment for acute and chronic injuries
- Rehab program focused on athletic improvement
- Prehabilitation programs for injury prevention
- Minimally invasive surgery treatments
- Concussion recovery programs
- Athletic training services
A sports medicine physician is familiar with the many injuries and conditions
common to various athletes. Athletes in similar professions are inclined
to encounter similar injuries. For example, pitchers are more inclined
to suffer elbow pains while soccer players receive more foot and ankle
injuries. Having treated others in your athletic profession before, a
sports medicine doctor has a broad range of experience to draw on when
making a diagnosis and prescribing treatment.
From conditioning, through injury treatment and rehabilitation, we offer truly comprehensive sports and physical medicine care. Contact us today if you are in need of a sports medicine physician.
